Training Options
My name is Erica Lyon.
I have over 15 years of experience working with animals. I am internationally certified in dog training specializing in enrichment directed animal training. I am currently pursuing a Master's of Science in Agriculture and Life Science with a concentration in Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare at Virginia Tech. I received my dual Bachelor's of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in Environmental Studies and Psychology where I assisted in research on the translocation and overwintering of the eastern box turtle. More recently, I worked as a herpetological research assistant at a local nature preserve where we collected data for research on snake fungal disease as well as other herpetological population data. Whether you need help with your dog, cat, snake, or other animal, I can create a tailored behavior modification plan for you and your critter companion. I look forward to discussing your training goals for all animals no matter what species.
